Under this strategic framework, the Primax Group is committed to addressing and mitigating the impacts of climate change through initiatives such as reducing our environmental carbon footprint and strengthening climate resilience.

Climate Change Related Risk and Opportunity Management
Primax establishes the Risk Management Committee, with the ESG Office leading the Risk Assessment Team, responsible for convening, propelling, and executing. The ESG Office focuses on researching and evaluating domestic and international regulations and initiatives related to climate change. This effort aids in the company's formulation of environmental policies, ensuring alignment with national developmental trends and enhancing Primax's capacity to respond to the challenges of climate change.

Energy Management
As an electronics manufacturer, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reduction, effluent/waste management and green product are all major issues in the environmental category. During the reporting period, we have set targets for mid- and long-term energy consumption and greenhouse gas reduction, both of which were approved by the top-level management and are being enforced as a major part of the Company's environmental guidelines. Furthermore, we engage third-party institutions to examine our greenhouse gas emission, water footprint, and energy management system on a regular basis.

GHG Reduction
The emission pollution of greenhouse gases (GHGs), nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and other significant gases generated during the manufacturing process of electronic products will have a significant impact on the environment. Therefore, we are implementing various schemes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enforcing strict control measures, and dedicating efforts to lower the volume of greenhouse gas emissions. This is to prevent potential impacts and influences on the group's operations stemming from relevant policies and regulations.

Water Resources
Water usage and management have emerged to become two critical issues in business operations, given the increasing scarcity and rising demand for water. This is why we have long taken steps to monitor the volume of water used at our production plants, and are dedicated to reducing water volume where possible.
Waste Management
We try not to dispose or bury our obsolete equipment; instead, we do what we can to make them reusable one way or another, and have gone to great extent in making sure that these equipment are recycled in a proper manner that poses no threat to employees' health or the environment.

In 2022, the total amount of waste generated was 2,666.722 metric tons, which represents 34.41 % increase compared to the previous year. The main reason for this increase was the higher volume of waste generated at four locations: Primax Thailand, Tymphany Thailand, Tymphany Taipei, and Tymphany Shenzhen.
