Primax June 2024 Revenue of NT$5.23 billion, up 2.2% MoM

Primax Electronics Ltd. (TWSE: 4915) today announced its consolidated revenue for June amounted to NT$5.23 billion, a 2.2% month-over-month (MoM) increase. For 2Q24, Primax’s consolidated revenue was NT$15.37 billion, a 12.6% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) gain and a 4.3% year-over-year (YoY) decrease, which performed better than original expectation. For January through June, Primax’s cumulative consolidated revenue was NT$29.02 billion, a 5.6% YoY decrease.

As the AI wave shifts from cloud to edge devices, Primax integrates X-in-one Sensory Fusion technology with the Internet of Everything which are developing innovative and cross-industry applications such as public safety and AIoT (B2B) visual solutions. The new features of AI PCs, including comprehensive user experiences and enhanced processing efficiency, are expected to stimulate PC demand.

Furthermore, Primax’s audio business will expand into niche markets, such as smart conferencing systems and car audio systems, enhancing growth momentum. The demand for over-ear headphones has increased recently, leading to steady QoQ growth for overall audio business performance. The company will continues optimize its product portfolio, improving both gross profit margins and operating profit margins, further strengthening its growth opportunities.
