In collaboration with Donghai University, CommonWealth Magazine has launched the "Corporate Carbon Reduction Thermometer" survey platform. This year's findings disclosed the carbon reduction commitments and performance of 725 companies to assess their compliance with the 1.5°C temperature control target set by the Paris Agreement. Among them, Primax emerged as one of the 94 companies in Taiwan that met the stringent criteria. Furthermore, only a select few, including Primax, achieved the same level of carbon reduction standards, earning them a place in the esteemed category of outstanding performers.
Throughout the years, Primax's various branches have consistently provided unwavering support and efforts to align with the rigorous Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Their proactive collaboration with the headquarters' strategies has paved the way for remarkable achievements in the past. Building on this strong foundation, they are now even more determined to implement their net-zero pathway towards the long-term goal of achieving zero carbon emissions by 2050. This commitment further enhances Primax's competitiveness in sustainable business operations.
In a recent development, the Chairman of Primax, in response to an invitation from CommonWealth Magazine, recorded an advocacy video representing the company's firm commitment to sustainable business practices and the significant importance placed on their carbon reduction commitments.
This recognition of Primax's efforts marks a pivotal moment in the company's pursuit of a sustainable and low-carbon future, setting an inspiring example for the industry and reaffirming their dedication to combat climate change.
